Benefits of Considering Invisalign

Benefits of Considering Invisalign to Straighten Your TeethWhen considering Invisalign, you want to consider the benefits that come with it. Not only are these braces, but they have to straighten your teeth. One of the biggest benefits is that you don’t see the retainer in your mouth, unlike metal braces. They can straighten your teeth easily without having to have wires retightened as you go. Additionally, in order to move the teeth to the desired location, a series of retainers are made to push them back slightly. Take the retainer out or keep it in. You can straighten your teeth in no time at all, without letting anyone know you’re even wearing braces. This is one of the top teeth straightening systems out there. You can have straighter, better looking teeth in no time.

Who Qualifies to Get Invisalign?

Not everyone is able to get Invisalign. Those that do not need extensive straightening of the teeth can benefit from using Invisalign. Only a professional dentist will be able to let you know more about whether or not you’re an ideal candidate for this type of teeth correction. Let them take a look and let you know what they think regarding the straightening you need and this amazing new straightening system.

Give Solace Dentistry a call today to learn more about Invisalign. They can provide you with more information about the product, as well as whether or not you qualify for it. If you do, they can provide you with a straighter, better looking smile in no time.

Our Charlotte Dentists Share How Cosmetic Dentistry Strengthens Confidence

The modern world of cosmetic dentistry has changed the way people view themselves and the world around them. It has given them the confidence to accomplish things that they never realized they could with the help of their cosmetic dentist. New techniques in the field of cosmetic dentistry are helping everyone look and feel their best each day.

Sparkling Teeth

A bright smile is one of the first things people notice when meeting someone for the first time. White teeth really make a lasting impression and are an indicator that they take pride in the way they look. There are many different foods and drinks that stain teeth. Even the natural aging process yellows teeth causing people to look older than they really are. A visit to the local dentist office is the first step to a whiter smile.

Veneers

Veneers are a wafer-thin shell that covers the front and sides of the tooth to improve their overall appearance. They work well to cover spaces and misshapen teeth. Teeth that are permanently stained get a new lease on life with veneers from a cosmetic dentist.

Braces Keep Teeth on the Straight Path

Braces are a beneficial way to straighten teeth in both children and adults. They are often used for cosmetic reasons, but they are also applied in correlation with jaw relocation and irregular bites. These conditions can create health problems such as headaches and Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ). Today’s braces are as individualized as the person who wears them. The traditional metal is still commonplace but ceramic, lingual, clear, and invisible are used on patients who are looking to make the move without the fuss.

Crowns Do More than Cover

Crowns are designed to cover the entire tooth and are generally made out of metal, resin, ceramic, or a combination of materials. They are most often used when a tooth is weak due to damage from a cavity or a chip. Crowns are designed to strengthen the tooth while restoring its color and shape.

Bridges Fill the Gaps

Missing teeth can be unhealthy and unattractive. The cosmetic dentist uses artificial teeth to fill in the gaps with a fixed bridge. They are attached to the nearby teeth working in correlation with crowns to help hold everything in place.

Now is the time to call our South Charlotte dentist office for an appointment and get that boost of confidence started today.

A genuine smile is a more beautiful you!

I have wanted to be a dentist my whole life and while dentistry is my love; cosmetic dentistry is my passion!  My mother always told me to leave a space more beautiful than the way I found it, and my rule for dentistry is no different.  I love to help people improve their smile in the most natural, conservative way possible.

I never want a stranger to look at my work and think, “Those are beautiful veneers.”  My goal is for no one to know that my patients have had any dental work. I only want people to think, “Wow, that’s a beautiful smile.” Achieving those results might be easier than you think, leaving you with and enhanced appearance, restored smile and more confidence. Today, there are many materials and techniques at our disposal that can be used to improve your genuine smile.  Bleaching, bonding, tooth reshaping, veneers and metal free crowns are all great tools we can use to help you achieve a beautiful, natural-looking smile.

The shape of our natural teeth is not always ideal.  In some cases, beautiful improvements can be as simple as minor reshaping of your natural teeth and using a small amount of tooth-colored filling material to repair a small chip.  This is what was done to achieve the results seen below.

before and after reshaping

This patient had small lateral incisors and large central incisors making the teeth look out of proportion.  There was also decalcification present from poor hygiene while wearing braces.  All of this was corrected with six natural-looking veneers.

My goal is to achieve optimal results, involving as few teeth as possible.  I believe that the best way to enhance your smile is to keep the majority of your teeth in their natural state, while selecting shades and materials that will deliver the most natural results and work in harmony with the rest of your teeth.

Your smile is a reflection of who you are on the inside. My goal is for your smile it to reflect the REAL you!
